Becker’s oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps are able to generate a fine vacuum and are an excellent choice for applications that require a high vacuum.

Oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps are similar to other vane pumps. However, these pumps feature unique benefits you will not find with standard vacuum pumps. Their straightforward construction with single shaft direct drive makes for a robust, long-life rotary vane pump with low operation and maintenance costs.

Rotary vane pumps never experience internal metal-to-metal contact, so they are able to self-compensate for wear. As a result, they have lower maintenance requirements and maintain peak performance longer than other types of vacuum pumps.

Oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps are positive-displacement pumps that feature sliding vanes in a rotor rotating within a cavity. An eccentrically mounted rotor with slots rotates in a cylindrical housing and the precisely fitting sliding vanes move in the slots and separate the individual working chambers. Compared to dry-running rotary vane pumps, oil-lubricated pumps additionally seal the working chambers with the oil that is transported.

SCREW COMPRESSORS

 

Becker’s screw compressors are dry positive-displacement pumps. They have two counter-rotating rotors and a housing that encloses the rotors. Thanks to the direct drive via an integrated frequency inverter, a drive gear is no longer required.

The rotors are designed with a regular, thread-shaped profile and mesh with each other like cogwheels. When the rotors rotate, they move out in a machine direction and convey the medium from the suction side (inlet) to the pressure side (outlet). They rotate in opposite directions without touching one another or the housing.

The working chamber of the machines is 100% oil-free, making them relatively maintenance free. The integrated speed control enables energy-optimized operation of the devices. Becker drives continuously adjust the volume flow to the demand. It‘s high efficiency results into low energy consumption.
